Terms of Service

1. General

These terms of service apply to the use of the Disc Times application and website (hereinafter "Service"). By using the Service, you accept these terms.

The Service is provided by Disc Times (hereinafter "Service Provider"). Contact: info@disctimes.app.

2. Description of the Service

Disc Times is a disc golf course management and communication application that offers the following services:

  • Publishing course announcements and events
  • Tee time booking system
  • Collection of course fees and support payments
  • Push notifications for players
  • Course-specific event calendars

3. Creating a User Account

Using the Service requires creating a user account. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and agrees to keep their login credentials confidential. Each user account is personal.

4. User Obligations

The user agrees to:

  • Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with good practices
  • Not publish offensive, unlawful, or misleading content
  • Not interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Comply with the rules set by course operators

5. Payments and Reservations

Course fees and support payments are processed through the Stripe payment processor. Stripe's own terms apply to payments. Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each course operator separately.

Tee time reservations are binding. The course operator may charge a course fee for a reservation that is not cancelled.

6. Course Operator Responsibility

The course operator is responsible for the content published through the Service, their pricing, and their cancellation policies. The Service Provider is not a party to the contractual relationship between the course operator and the player.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The content, design, code, and trademarks of the Service are the property of the Service Provider. The user has the right to use the Service in accordance with these terms but does not have the right to copy, modify, or distribute the content of the Service without permission.

8. Service Availability

The Service Provider strives to keep the Service available without interruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service Provider has the right to suspend the Service for maintenance or updates.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • Indirect damages resulting from the use of or interruptions to the Service
  • Disruptions caused by third parties (e.g., payment processor)
  • Damages resulting from the user's actions or omissions

10. Changes to Terms of Service

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these terms of service. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Account Termination

The user may terminate their account at any time by contacting info@disctimes.app. The Service Provider has the right to close a user account if the user violates these terms.

12. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled in the general courts of Finland.
